Marcus Dawson is an executive with extensive experience spanning multiple specialties including music production, live entertainment, international business development, non-profit management, and real estate development. Marcus was appointed to Chief of Staff of the T.D. Jakes organization in 2013, a critical role that maximizes his ability to represent the CEO and serve as an effective ambassador between multiple high-profile initiatives. In his role as Managing Member of TDJREV, Marcus ensures that the greatest impact can be made through the partnership of T.D. Jakes organizational platforms and experts who are best in class in various real estate categories.
Marcus’ love for entrepreneurship dates back to 2001 with the founding of POMAR Music, a music publishing company. Within one year, POMAR had amassed over 300 active music titles and was composing music for NBC, ABC, ESPN Sports, Integrity Music, Time Life, EMI Records, TBN and several independent networks. Proof of Marcus’s exceptional talents were evident early in life when he was nominated for 3 Grammy Awards and 2 Dove Awards — when he was just 21.
Shortly after purchasing his first investment property in 2005, Marcus entered the real estate industry in full force, forming a critical partnership with Jim Hughes Custom Homes where he developed a program that raised over $20 Million for single family homes and townhome construction projects. Between 2005 and 2009, that partnership developed over 50 luxury, custom homes in the North Dallas area.

Roxanne has extensive experience in ground up development and all disciplines related thereto including land use, zoning, entitlements, project supervision, oversight of architects and engineers, budgets, financing, and leasing/land use. She has developed neighborhood shopping centers and mixed use development in underserved areas, served as broker representation for landlords and tenants, including Aldi, Inc. for 14 years and other national brands, asset managed and property managed commercial retail, office, affordable and market rate residential, and industrial buildings.
Roxanne also serves the Court Judicial System in Illinois as a court-appointed receiver for over 12 years where tens of millions of dollars have been protected and settled under her leadership.
Roxanne is an active member of Lambda Alpha International and the International Council of Shopping Centers. She served on the board of Mayor Daley’s Futures Forum, The Chicago Department of Housing and was a committee member of the Chicago Forum on Housing Solutions. Roxanne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, is a graduate of Roosevelt University’s Lawyers Assistant Program in Real Estate and Mortgages and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois.

Michael is a licensed attorney and has represented a number of small businesses and real estate investment and operating companies. Contemporaneous with his practice he pursued the development of a variety of real estate projects with a primary focus on commercial and residential real estate properties developing approximately 2.2 million sq ft of commercial and residential properties.
Additionally, Michael developed valuable expertise in the use of economic incentive tools to finance challenging projects. Some of the tools utilized consist of TIF financing, tax abatements, NMTC, EB-5 financing, OZ investments, CDFI funding and other comparable sources raising and deploying over $100 million dollars in investment and project funding. He is a founding member of TRU3 Development, LLC, Mercury Title Company, LLC, ATG Trust Company, REPH and a former Chairman and shareholder of Sable Bancshares, Inc., a community development financial institution holding company.
He’s also a frequent speaker and presenter on real estate issues and has testified before Congress and the Illinois State Assembly on legislative matters related to community development finance and economic development matters. He is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of technology Chicago-Kent College of Law (JD) and the Stuart School of Management (MBA).

Skip Barrett is an accomplished business leader and commercial real estate developer, based in Los Angeles and Chicago with a particular focus on building a diverse portfolio of invested assets to include full service and premium select branded hotels. Additional invested assets include mixed-use commercial development across the United States. Skip brings a wealth of experience from his acquisition, development, and asset management firm.
Where he was actively raising private equity and venture capital for investment and deployment, across various real estate sectors. His accomplishments are highlighted through his innovative approach to achieving success in business, by building strategic, risk managed investments.
